The Weather during the Rainy Season in Costa Rica can be Fun too!
The rainy season is May through November. During this “off season” it rains daily in the center of the country in the core area of the Rainforest. However, the northwest coast is drier and there are fewer rainy days, during the rainy season. This is another sound reason to choose La Carolina Condo at Brasilito. In center of the Rainforest it can rain all day – other parts of the country will just have an afternoon shower. It is a refreshing timeperiod and a nice change from the heat during the dry season. In the mountain sectors the temperatures can drop to 45 degrees. There are advantages to travelling on the cusp of the season meaning late October or early June.
During the rainy season there is the lush Rainforest with dense vegetation and flora and fauna to observe. The rates on most things are lower.
